Refunds & Cancellation

1. Cancelling a membership
You can cancel your Plus or Pro membership at any time. Your plan stays active until the end of the current paid month, then simply does not renew. You will not be billed again after you cancel.
To cancel, email hello@giftwit.co.uk from the address you signed up with, or use the manage-billing link on your Stripe receipt. We will confirm cancellation by email.
2. 14-day cooling-off (new subscribers)
Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, if you are a consumer you have 14 days from starting a new subscription to cancel for a full refund. If you ask us to begin the service immediately and then cancel within the 14 days, we may charge for the portion of the period already supplied. To use this right, email us within 14 days of your first payment.
3. Renewals
Memberships renew automatically each month. Renewal payments are generally not refundable once taken, but if you were charged after cancelling, or charged in error, contact us and we will put it right.
4. Donations
Donations are voluntary gifts with no goods or services in return and are non-refundable. Crypto donations are irreversible once sent on-chain. Please double-check the coin and network before sending.
5. Purchases from retailers
When you buy a product through a link on GiftWit, your purchase, refunds and returns are handled entirely by that retailer (for example eBay or Amazon) under their own policies and your statutory rights. We cannot refund or return products bought from a third-party retailer.

Nothing here affects your legal rights as a consumer under UK law.
